Problem Note 57159: In UNIX environments, enabling the SASĀ® logging facility results in logs with permissions that do not follow the umask setting
If you enable the SAS logging facility by setting the LOGCONFIGLOC system option, SAS log files are created with permissions that do not follow the umask setting for the SAS process.
